Rhythmic Gymnastics was started in South Africa in 1985. The Sport became increasingly popular and Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs started opening across the country.
Demand increased for Rhythmic Gymnastics equipment and in 1991, Nellie Cameron, a well-known South African National Artistic Gymnastics Coach and Brevet Judge started a small business, Rhythmic Sport Supply. It was the first business that imported and manufactured Rhythmic Gymnastics Equipment in Southern Africa.
In 2014, Nellie sadly passed away and her daughter Michelle Kleu decided to continue with the family business.
Michelle has experience as a High Performance Gymnast (Senior National Champion 1995-1999; African Champion 1996 & 1998; All-African Games Champion 1995 & 1999; competed at 2 World Championships, Commonwealth Games and numerous International Competitions); High Performance Coach (produced a number of National Team members from 2001 to 2007) and Brevet Judge (2000 and 2005 cycles).
She has unsurpassed knowledge about the equipment needs of Rhythmic Gymnasts and will be able to give you the most objective and expert advise.
The name was changed from Rhythmic Sport Supply to moveworklove in 2015, as the goal for the business moving forward is to supply equipment and merchandise to other disciplines and dance forms as well.
The business has been supplying Southern Africa’s Rhythmic Gymnastics community for more than 20 years.
